Who could deny the great service Scott Brown has given to our club.
A no nonsense player's player who always gave 100%.
Positive & direct, he contributed greatly to our recent success.
Whenever we were struggling & Scotty came off the bench, I for one would think - 'Thank God for that!'
I'm sure he'll make a huge difference to the fortunes of Harrogate Town.
Thanks for all the memories Scott & the best of luck to you.
Looking forward to seeing you score the winner for Harrogate in a Wembley play-off next season.

I never rated him that much until later on in the promotion season when I thought he was outstanding. Always gave it his all, and very dependable.

Good insight from #asfc assistant manager Jimmy Bell @BBCLancsSport this evening. Confident Mark Hughes will sign a new contract & stay. Have offered Maxted a deal but thinks he may go the way of Ben Richards-Everton and go elsewhere. A couple of new recruits imminent ish!

Thanks for that, David. Here's a link to almost an hour's chat: https://www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/p078v5yn. Start at 5:18 to skip the news. Available for another 29 days.

Wouldn’t be surprised if we made a move for Jack Doyle.
Pacy left back just released by Blackburn.

Tranmere are meant to have someone signing for them next week that Stanley has been trying to get for a while ?
Anyone know who it is?

Tranmere can pay bigger wages with a bigger stadium/crowd to fund it?

Just don’t think he fits our type of player at moment, young with a point to prove....
Sam could have earned 25% more wages at least at Wrexham. He chose us to prove himself at league football

Weve tried to get Rowe a few times, as others have, but he keeps resisting the football league

if that was the case we,d never sign anyone. wages and a big ground might appeal to someone who,s at the fag end of their career but a younger lad will get a better chance with us if he knuckles down.
