With the overnight news it's now a case of waiting in Accy to get more information, but the Arsenal information will make a big change IMHO

According to inside journalists looks like a suspension untill April 4th hopefully that will be enough in the lap of the Gods I'm afraid.

Re: Coronovirus

Unfortunately Barnet FC have put all non-playing staff on notice of redundancy not nice news for those affected but I fear could just be the start of many clubs following suit.

Re: Coronovirus

I suspect when all this is over and that's anyone's guess without support from footballing,s governing bodies quite a few clubs will have gone so further complicating end of season scenarios, also contracts and transfer windows, budgets in meltdown could end up with a lot of casualties here.

quite possible, but what happens, happens and sod all we can do about it only use common sense, so dont see the point in bothering about it to be honest.

Just keeping a thread going in uncertain times, also in Andy Holt,s business empire Stanley won,t be top of the list if God forbid it starts to slide I think Andy,s business model is quite sound and with the new government help should hopefully be ok.

If it did start again on this date with 8 games for most clubs left some have more so 4 weeks in reality to complete end of May, any further delays will lead to encroaching on next season creating all sorts of challenges and problems but in the grand scheme of things its probably way down most people's priorities.

2020 / 2021 can start in October and extend to June 2021 ?
What is most worrying is the players whose contracts expire 30 June 2020 should it take longer than then to finish the season. Some may already have pre contract agreements in place effective 1 July 2020. Not sure of the contractual position with the loanees either.
Bit of a mess ..........

Lots of work on the admin front and a few rules will need amending.

Pre-contract agreements aren't worth owt!!

Only asked to do one in 8 years. Spoke to the FA and EFL about where to send it to; still waiting for an answer!!

Getting serious now all pubs, clubs and restaurants to remain shut from midnight tonight for at least a month so this season might not finish next season.
