Re: Next season??
We're (EFL and clubs) hoping to have it in for start of next season, with a "soft" one year exemption for existing (not new deals)
Ie a club has numerous players in year one of a 3 year deal or suffers relegation and needs a year to adjust. The "saga" in L1 has slowed the debate and work down on this project. |
Re: Next season??
Ah rite Mark thanks for that
I was under the impression that the transition season to allow for existing contracts would be 21/22 and not next season but I agree if they can get it in place for the start of next season it wouldn't be a bad thing. |
Re: Next season??
Its not going to affect our club anyway.
We will be well within salary cap as we would be even in a good year. |

Re: Next season??
Andy Holt just said he thinks it's the right decision to curtail the season and can now get on with contracts and sorting for when ever next season starts. He adds that he doesn't want to see this behind closed doors as football is for fans and their communities and looks forward to a packed Wham on the return I for one wholeheartedly agree with him.
