Good win for Bristol Rovers tonight to be honest they played very well we need to not panic get as many players as fit as we can and hopefully 3 points Saturday.

We were definitely the best team by far between the 77th and 78th minute!:hidewall::enough:

Peterborough well beat at home, Doncaster lost again, Portsmouth losing at home currently table tightening up around us any team who hits a run now will benefit and reach top 6.

To be honest tonight Andyd, Bristol Rovers were quite poor. But we were really bad. Smyth the only player who seemed to want to play and create anything at all. I'm really disappointed and wondering if I will buy a pass for Saturday. Not much effort shown tonight and no fight either.

Surely we can't be as pathetic again as we were tonight. Couldn't control/pass the ball to any affect and what's all this tippy tappy nonsense from a goal kick ? Made Rovers look like Real Madrid - can't recall a worse performance. Paul Smyth only one worth keeping the shirt for Saturday. Upset ? wot me ?

Don't agree about Rovers being poor not a Barton lover but he was an excellent player and at Fleetwood he showed what a good manager he can become,he had them prepared and up for it tonight had his players pressing us into silly mistakes at the back, we didn't get a grip in midfield in fact after a shaky start Morgan was the pick, Butcher poor game and McConville not as effective as when wide.

Re: Bristol Rovers away thread.

Coley pulling no punches in post match interview not good enough calamitous first goal, terrible time for second stroke of half time then 3+4 th within a minute of one another, gives Rovers credit said they played well but we have to be better.

On tonight's form, any hope of making the play-offs is pure fantasy.
The optimism has evaporated & we're heading for mid-table obscurity.
What's worse is following other results tonight, a win would have put us in 6th spot.

Time for honesty.
Our first 13 when fully fit can compete.
When injuries and suspensions kick in then we struggle.
Others around us don't because they have strength in depth.
Not a criticism just a fact of life.
Tonight with a fully fit Baxter Bishop Conneely Pritchard (Sykes) dare I suggest the result would have been different ?
Our back up squad isnt good enough.

Keep getting caught out by the early starts to these midweek matches. Perhaps as well tonight.
