Brilliant effort from Stanley, good game to watch.
But I take it all back - the ref was crap but, for once, we were not ‘kettled’ out of the points.

Best game to watch for a while it had a bit of everything controversy, plenty of twists and turns but Stanley deserving winners much better with the width that both excellent Rodgers and Maguire provided but man of match for me by a country mile Paul Smyth covered every inch of grass today capped by a goal possibly his best display in a Stanley shirt.

Have to agree Andy, thought Rodgers and Maguire were outstanding.

Have to agree with you Andy ( now there’s a surprise! )..
I lost count of how many times he was fouled ( with no response from a poor Referee ! ) but his response was positive every time , and he didn’t seem to approve of being substituted !.
The team performance was better. One question ... are the play-offs really beyond the Reds ? .. Hmmmmmmm ?.

More importantly out of the bottom 6 only Wimbledon could mathematicaly get more than 57 points so league 1 football confirmed for next season unless Hmmmmmmmm?

A super result for Stanley today 2-1 at Oxford!:theband:
Based on a really good all round team performance by the boys in WHITE! Come on ....errr ..you Reds! Probably deserved to win by a three goal margin really.
I agree with earlier comments that Maguire was super today as was Smith and Bishop who both worked so hard all over the pitch. The defence looked solid again with our back four set up and with Seamus just in front. Toby Savin had a really good game making saves when needed.
:alright::jimbo:
Regarding the referee today and more importantly the assistant refereeing......had we lost 2-1, I can’t help thinking what the comments would have been like on here! :joint::stop::bingobang
To stay on the positive though what a transformation and we can look forward to a positive closing period of a very strange season.:theband:
ON STANLEY ON:theband:
KEEP THE FAITH
