that and being inconsistant. on any day stanley could beat anyone in the league but equally can get beaten. thats why they are where they are. a typical mid table team.

Currently a Bolton striker who's scored 3 goals in his last two games, and will most likely want to get one over on Coley when we play them in April.

It's been mentioned on both the Facebook and Twitter Stanley pages created quite a bit of debate on Facebook.

Re: Morecambe home thread.

why should a wheelie bin put the game in jeopardy.
Yes FM perhaps I sould explain my post. Many, many seasons ago there was a group of us who stood together and at a match when there was a gale blowing, a bit like Saturday, a dust bin lid blow on to the pitch and an old bloke who stood in front of us started shouting at the ref to abandon the match as it was dangerous for the players. We all laughed at him and when ever anything blow on the pitch at future matchs we used to shout at the ref to stop the match because it was dangerous, much to the annoyance of the old bloke stood in front of us. When I read the post about a gale blowing I thought I would post about the wheelie bin and revive a few memories of those who stood in our group. Sadly I was informed at the match on Saturday that, other than myself, the only other two who were still with us are no longer able to follow the reds.
So FM I now realise that my post meant nothing to anyone.

So the die hards on here who deplore the idea of social media have no opinion on the topic ?
I'm surprised.

Coley picks the side and the use of subs he obviously had something in his head making that one Saturday finding out what that is well that's something else.

I wouldn't describe myself as a die hard.......yes I was surprised at HT when our new defender came on upfront, and in fact expressed my surprise to the group of friends who I sit with. Young Mansel must be really annoyed. He played in the same fixture away at Morecambe and played well. Can't understand Coley's decision. Makes you wonder why he's on the bench if he's not good enough to come on. Can only think the second half tactic was to cram the box with giants and keep going long-ball..........I know lots of other teams in league 1 see us as a long-ball team.......we certainly don't play the football we used to play last season on the deck with quick passing. ......

4 penalties in one game for Oxford, that feels like more than we've had all season!

What do you expect from Robert Madley? He’s shown himself to be a c**p ref at Stanley before now.

Seen the highlights every one a penalty to be fair Gillingham can't do anything right at the minute be interesting to see how they do under new manager Niel Harris.
