You can view missing one penalty as unfortunate - to miss two is unforgivable.
According to JC, last week at Plymouth we were the better team. Sorry JC, no we weren't. The best team won 3-0 and remain league leaders.
At the end of the day the result trumps sentiment and history will record yesterday as a 3-0 victory for Derby County.
If points were awarded for 'ifs, buts & maybe's', Stanley would lead the table.

Clutching at straws comes to mind yes we have been unfortunate with injuries but beaten twice on the trot 3-0 and claim you are the better side on both occasions is daft. And to call out a fan in an interview isn't on especially as the club are trying to attract more, if anyone should have been singled out it was the idiot throwing things at their keeper that behaviour isn't on and can land the club in trouble .

What did disappoint me Lord S was seeing in the 90th minute Derby County's Captain demanding more from his players , irregardless of the score.. Whilst our stand-in leader was wandering around aimlessly seemingly having given up the fight !.
Now this is not right !...If ever a team needed grabbing by the throat and shaking into life it is NOW !. But just where such a leader exists at The Crown at present is hard to see I'm afraid !.
Having admired and said as much, I hope that I wasn't 'jumping on Sean's back 'when I suggested that the time to maybe think of hanging up boots is nigh .. Merely passing opinion based on making comparisons with those midfielders/wingers in other teams which we see week in week out The Crown.

Of course, this is just me thinking aloud, and I could be entirely wrong !.. 😎

Derby did defend their lead but who would moan if we had defended the lead in second half?we were on top for a period in the first half but saying we hit the bar when it should have been buried is away with the fairies to me.

Just on the "men against boys" comment, was it really???

Had Sean scored instead of hitting the post, it was a different game.

The second Harvey mistimed his headed interception, we were a goal down - even before the ball had a) got to the number 23, b) number 23 controlled the ball, c) 23 sent the defender the wrong way, d) 23 smashed the ball into the back of the net!!!

The 2 on loan lads up front were very classy and very assured.....I'd settle for just 1 of them at the moment :)

:)
