:) :)

I'd only quibble with the last two. Surely we can beat Cambridge at home, and have a decent shot at a point away at Oxford?

They will both - like us - be fighting for their lives Chimer my friend :)

Let us hope that you are correct and I have to dig out my grandmothers recipe for humble pie ;) :D

I hope I am wrong.

Is 46 points enough????

I hope we get Notts., Lowe, Ryan and Doug back A.S.A.P. and Mitch has a blinding last 15 games :)

We haven't got a regular goal scorer Val, it's been that way all season and Coley still persists with starting with Whalley who can't beat a keeper with a shot. He had two good chances last night and shot one straight at the keeper and the second was so weak I could have kicked it harder.......

You’re right, CG, Whalley isn’t a striker but he always gives his all.
However, the absence of a ‘natural’ poacher or, in the absence of Hamilton, someone with a rocket shot continues to cost Stanley.
Even in the warm up, from just a few yards, it’s disappointing how many shots aren’t even on target.

We must use Lowe, Kode, Woods and Adekoya up front.

Shoehorning players in, is still Coleys Achilles.... Football Genius, or not :)

too many decent players allowed to leave.
too many mediocre players signed
too many players passed their 'best before' date
too many players who became long-term injury liabilities.
too many missed chances by management to consider making any changes
too many if's, but's & maybe's to excuse a complete failure of ideas

our manager is unaware what a substitute is, simple as prefers to sit on the wall and do sod all in my view.

Looking extremely bleak for us. Cant fault the effort put in last night by the whole team but we never look like a serious threat for a goal. Fingers crossed for better things ahead.

I note that 'The Stanley Rollercoaster' gets very little mention these days ?. Is it because there is no 'ups' to be experienced I wonder ?... ( plenty of ' downs' as posts elsewhere bear witness to !).
Just for once, I'll throw off the gloomy jacket which usually makes me appear to be such a depressing old moaner, and in turn put on a happy face when asking everybody to keep the faith, smile when Referees who shouldn't be !..regularly turn up at The Crown/ Wham !. and prove that like the Stanleyites of old we are behind every kick, every tackle, every header, every substitution made, or fails to be made, during every game in ' the run-in '.
'Hold on !'.. do I hear the cry ?..' Has owd Yonmon finally sunk into his dotage ?'... Not at all lads and lasses , merely waking up to the fact that it's no good, after all the years of being attached to The Crown by some invisible umbilical cord which has and does feed me with immense pleasure and pride, I fail to stand by my team when they need my support more than ever !..
ON STANLEY !...ON, TO GREATER THINGS !!..
