Mmm.....know where you are coming from Val, however just remembering the season we got promoted back to the football league I remember we had 18 (yes eighteen) midfielders on the books!......Maybe it's a sign?......

We need another Keeper Val.....would think it will be a loan.

Also Strikers (Good Ones) as you know are rare and expensive....too expensive for us.....so a false 9 (attacking midfield) is the only option. Perhaps that's where young Nelson comes in. Let's hope he's cleared to play tomorrow and gets on for some part of the game....and gets his second goal at the Wham!

I would have preferred some experience at both ends of the park brought in. One up front who knows how to put the ball between the two posts, and one at the back stopping the opposition from putting the ball between the two posts.

I agree Watchdog........but as we know, experience at both ends (unless it is past its best) costs more than we can afford. The "pond" we fish in must be "undiscovered talent" or "faulty diamonds".....which John and Ged can improve by coaching or mend by good man management......FINGERS CROSSED....as always...

I was told at the weekend by another supporter that J.R.B. is injured - now that is a surprise.... - and has had a 'minor' operation..........

I was told by JRB at the season ticket evening he was fit and raring to get playing again! :rolleyes:
Didn’t Coyle have a hernia operation this year? If so, and speaking from personal experience, I was surprised he even played when he did. Perhaps he ought not to have done?
