Good luck to the lad

We just never seem to trust home-grown goalkeepers (especially if their names end in AVIN) :(

Is the talented Emerich Poilly still with the Stanley. I hope so as I believe he is ready for some first team exposure.:mosher:

Good footballer is Joe, enjoyed watching him when fully in his stride but never seemed to regain full fitness from his lengthy injuries before he picked up another one.
Good luck though Joe.

Agree with you Exile. His experience will be good to have. I liked him when he played on loan with us a few years ago.:theband:

Yes, I remember him too.
And did I hear it correctly that Stanley gave him a League 2 winners medal for his previous efforts for the club? Nice gesture.

Re: Contracted players for season2024/25

I make that:

21 Contracted Players plus 1 loan signing, of which we have 1 Keeper (Michael Kelly) and 7 under 21 with a contract. Not sure how the 20 year old Loan Signing is treated under EFL rules? If they are included in the "22" player limit, then we have room for another (22 minus keeper minus 7 = 14) Which means 8 more players. Anyone else been counting? (Wages budget allowing)
