Just a point of order here chaps, I think you are all missing the point. Who on earth in this neck of the woods would want to watch Burnley v Blackburn Rovers. I would have thought either the BBC or Sky will plump for the Manchester United v Everton clash as THE game of the round, with a certain Wayne Rooney returning to his old haunts. Burnley v Blackburn - don't make me laugh. Like watching Wigan Athletic or worse.
Burnley and Rovers are probably the second biggest rivalries in England, behind utd city.

Fantastic game for the neutrals. This game will deffinitely be on TV. Sunday with a 12pm kick off will probably be when the tie is played.
This is one tie that Sky/BBC dont get to chose the kick off time, the police will be choosing it for safety thats why it will be in the morning. Police arevery dissapointed with this tie because of all the trouble that will happen.

I think this will affect our attendance a bit against Barnet even though they wont be playing on the same day or time.

Are you real? a relagation threaten club with no history and a perment lower league club wow how exciting either Englands gone down hill and forgotten about Newcastle and Sunderland, Spurs v Arsenal, Villa v Birmingham or any of the other 100 or so Derbys that are way above those two.

Lowely and BAZF, I think you may have lost the plot a little bit here. We are talking FA Cup, NOT league rivalries. and anyway, if my mind serves me, Liverpool, Sunderland Middlesborough are all out of the cup so can't play Everton/Newcastle. What the original thread was about was how the derby game between Rovers and Dingles would affect Stanley v Barnet gate!!!!

Re: How will this affect the Barnet gate?

Even if it doesnt get televised Im sure the coppers will shift the 'kick off' time anyway. And I very much doubt it, even if they didnt, that it would affect our gate as it seems to me neither Walkers or Dingles fans are coming onto Accy anyway so it wont make the slightest bit of difference to the gate...

Sorry. I misread the FA's site. Thanks for the correction, Jeff.
