Cheers Simon that’s brilliant, I'm not a committed support of football these days but I am increasing impressed by the commitment displayed by the folks on this site. I remember the regret and hanger felt by people around me in the early 60s and I suffered all the jokes about <?xml:namespace prefix = u1 /><u1:City u2:st="on"><U1:p</u1:City>after leaving Accy. What has been done should be recognised and held up as something positive for the borough. Nice job lads and lasses.

No, Kipax, I won't be there because as you are fully aware I do not live in Accrington. However, if I attend a match at some future date and I overhear a racist comment then I will endeavour to point out the offender to someone in authority. Will that do for you?

Actually I usually read the new threads when I return to a message board and on this occasion was drawn to comment because it seemed to me that OldGobbin had been unjustly criticised and to such an extent that he decided to leave the site which I think is a shame.

Behave, thats a bit drastic isnt it?
