I spoke to rory after the northwich game last week, and the lad bless didn't know anything about it, although it did rather amuse him!!!

Have to agree there Sparkie,he was more than a bit niffed off at all the rumours when I spoke to him on Sunday and the biggest news of all to him was the "stormed out of training " line!
"Fruitnutty" ?????
Personally I prefer players to have a bit of personality,a sense of humour and be friendly with their fans.Rory has all that in bucket loads;if certain individuals don't appreciate him it's very much their loss.He is a great lad, generous with his time and he appreciates the fans more than most.People should appreciate the real Rory and not keep making something out of nothing.

Just don't want to be tarred with the same brush as other "sources"!:)

Anyhow;from the horse's mouth;he knew nowt about the latest Bristol bid till he was told to look on teletext tonight;I think it's gone now but was about page323/333 ish.Quote from their manager saying they are def interested.Rory said he is here for the rest of the season and then basically it's out of his hands. He is 26 next month and desperately wants to play league football;if a club comes in with a sensible offer we will lose the BEST winger in the Conference.I personally think that the Club need to do all they can to hang on to him;but I would not blame him if he goes;he is a talented lad and has to have his own interests at heart.Let's just hope we make the play offs and increase our chances of keeping him in a Stanley shirt! {if God forbid it comes to losing the Roar;there had better be a bloody great sell on clause in there!**

Re: Port Vale after Rory

i agree id hate 2 c him go. But i could not blame him 4 doing..he is in my eyes the best winger in non league football! No-one can blame him 4 wanting to play league football and follow his own ambitions.
