Where did it all go wrong today?
Well;a sure fire 3 pointer is what we expected; a point that we really didn't deserve was what we got! Where did it all go wrong? That was the most awful first half I have seen in a long time....Was it just tired legs? It appeared to me that half the players on that pitch couldn't recognise their own team mates! Mindless substitutions,Smithy on the bench again,it's enough to make you despair...do we really want the playoffs?????
Honourable mentions to Procky who never gave up and Matty O'Neill who was inspired;why not play him AND Rory???? |
Re: Where did it all go wrong today?
so sad, so sad. I came away depressed by the fact that our coach one Mr Cook came on as sub and immediately gave the ball to the opposition. A stinker of a first half then we play for the last ten minutes of the game like we want to win...... its a funny old game.

Re: Where did it all go wrong today?
It all went wrong when Mr Coleman picked the starting lineup.

Re: Where did it all go wrong today?
poor game with 2 quality comeback goals.
well done matty o neill. super sub. hopefully he should get a start. don't know about old butterfingers though. is it true that he is on definate starts every match cause he travels from norwich ? |
Re: Where did it all go wrong today?
I think that's the case,Danny cops for the midweek matches and Coco the Clown gets the weekends! Jamie used to make me nervous with his walkabouts but not like this dope!I have heard tonight that he is "the coach's best mate" make of it what you will.....

Re: Where did it all go wrong today?
Don't know, but if it wasn't for him I reckon we'd be up there with Barnet.

Re: Where did it all go wrong today?
perhaps we need to hear the ring of change?
|
Re: Where did it all go wrong today?
i agree danny has done nothing wrong and gets dropped
what is danny thinking 1.do i try my hardest in training all week knowing that no matter how good i impress i still will be on the bench. or 2.just turn up for training and pick the money up at the end of the week well thats my opinion |
Re: Where did it all go wrong today?
crichton did not do anything wrong today so less of the blaming on him. Our team did not show up for 70 minutes and that has cost us dearly today. We can still do it but we must must must must beat crawley next week. SO get your name down and cheer the lads on down south and hopefully we get3 points.
PRIDE PASSION BELIEF come on stanllllllllleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeyyyyyy.............. ........ |
Re: Where did it all go wrong today?

|
Re: Where did it all go wrong today?

|
Re: Where did it all go wrong today?
I admire your optimism Zayno, but were you watching the same match? All the effort that the Ultras put in today was greatly appreciated by players and fans alike but you cannot deny the fact that the first 45 was absolutely diabolical! No matter how passionate you are about our team you have to accept that there are major issues when we play so badly.Who else do we blame;who makes the team selection;who decides on the substitutions? Mr Coleman is paid a wage to be a professional football manager and as such he should be big enough to expect the brickbats and the bouquets.

Well said, Lindsay. And your description of Crichton as "Coco the Clown" was inspired!!! Stanleybabe |

Re: Where did it all go wrong today?
Indeed;I fully expect my karma to drop as dramatically as our goal difference! But I am only speaking my mind and I left my rose tinted glasses in the Sports bar after the Morecambe match!
