They're nothing to do with the club lancsdave, they're done by MySpace accounts that have been phished by hackers.
Hackers send out 'comments' from the phished profiles to all the accounts on the phished profile's friend list with fake advertisements like these.

erm, hope that made sense

There are easy ways of hiding them which I've done with my own page but yeh, they're nothing to do with the club.

As somebody who doesn't use these new fangled things like myspace or facebook I'm clearly out of touch. Having said that there is now an 11 yr old Stanley fan in this house who won't be getting to see one of the official Stanley sites on offer
