Are you in for Tolley?

The word on the street is it might be you that is interested in out of contract midfielder, Jamie Tolley. Gary Peters has come in, and it looks like JT is out of favour at STFC. We've heard it's a northern club. He will certainly be well known to Bavo. Heard anything?

Re: Are you in for Tolley?

Would be a surprise signing. I remember seeing him on TV against Everton and Chelsea and he certainly impresses. Whether he can do a job 4 years later, I'm not sure. Plus, we have an abundance of midfielders at the moment, so he'd have to be exceptional to feature in Coley's plans. Can't you just give us a young, fast, 20 goals a season striker instead?

He's only 23, a Welsh u21 international, and very good going forward. His heading is very 5 out of 10 midfielder, which is surprising, because his bloody head is big enough! He has a one year deal on on offer at STFC, but he is refusing to sign.

No, you're not off your trolley, we've all done it at our level. Tolley is very much a central midfielder. Very popular with some STFC fans, others think it's time for him to move on. Chester made a £10.000 bid for him, last season, so his nickname is "ten grand Tolley".
