Don't think there will be much in the way of paying punters. Season ticket holders get free admission. One thing you might see especially for the 1st game is a full house

That would be great!

I know being surrounded by them in this neck of the woods the interest those fixtures have already created, hopefully there will be few big names scattered across those fixtures that will bring some more folk on!

It certanly can't do any harm and hopefully they will spend some of their hard earned cash in the Lounge

Re: Big teams on the way

Sounds great in theory, BUT how do you plan for this????

Lancs Daves spot on, all BFC season ticket holders get free entry. On average last year from 7k, 300 regularly took up the offer. How many will from 15K???

Yes all cash admissions are ours. But how many will come??? How many stewards, staff' turnstile people do we need??? Get too many and we're wasting money, too few and the messageboards moaners from 3 clubs will be having a field day!!! Same with the bar; order 100 pies and sell out in 10 minutes, order 500, nobody comes and potentially money wasted.

IMHO the worst possible fixture to start with, really could have done with a Hull or Sunderland to break us in gently!!!

Lancs Dave what's your honest view???

Not sure at the moment. There is certainly plenty of interest due to the calibre of opposition. As you say the fixtures have thrown up the worst possible one from your point of view. Estimates on our board so far range from 500 - 2000, and thats just our lot. Personally I think the Man Utd or Liverpool matches will be the biggest attendances, can't imagine there is anybody worth watching in Rovers reserves

Just make it known through local radio and paper press that everyone who wishes to go to the big games must obtain a ticket before the day. They just present their season ticket at our shop.

Though we'd have to give them raffle tickets as we wouldn't be making enough money to cover ticket production

IN the event of ticket only games ( which I doubt it will get to that stage ) I'm pretty sure Stanley have no say in the organisation of it all. Maybe Mr T could explain how the arrangement works ?

Re: Big teams on the way

Old arrangements:

BFC season tickets holders free admission appron 150-200 attend) all other pay ( Accy retain this money)

Burnley pay the all expenses, Accy provide the staff. because very few are needed.

New Arrangements

TBA, meeting soon, BUT BFC realise they will be responsible for all charges. We await to find out whats required, but I expect stewards, turnstiles operators, car park people, possible police, possible paramedic ambulance, etc, etc!!

Wasn't the turnstile staff supplied by BFC ?

Re: Big teams on the way

Turnstile staff have been supplied by BFC for two games only in the FA Youth Cup, Arsenal + Everton.

However with the number of comps you lot give away the dressing room gate was the busiest!!

Sorry, one of your ticket office staff normal comes down to sort out the finances and helps out to ( top fella!!)

Looks like you can get broken in gently after all

Hull will be the first match. Seems there is a feeling of nervousness about the potential problems next weeks match would have caused ?

The link's died so here's a replacement:
Burnley | Team | Reserves | Reserves | Barclays Premier Reserve League North Fixtures 2009/10
