i would have thought that Don would be officially 'released' from his duties at the meeting. The article quoted Rob Heys as things like the budget will be discussed, should that not have been done before the offer of new contracts was made to people like Jacobson?

Not sure about the Dave O'Neill bit but surely budgets for players wages will be sorted by now. Interesting to see that the fixtures have thrown up 6 overnight stays before the turn of the year. From previous seasons there seems to be 8/9 in total. Working anomolies like this into the budget may be what Rob was talking about.

I think when the original article said they were going to discuss the budget was stating the obvious really. You would have to question any board which doesn't discuss the budget at every meeting they have.
