Boston saga continues

See here: http://home.skysports.com/list.aspx?...lans&channel=&

If we lose on Saturday, we might be relying on Boston winding up.

Re: Boston saga continues

I wonder how the table would look without their records? we'd lose three points.

Wouldn't matter, though, because only Torquay would be going down.

Despite Barry Fry's sound bites, Peterborough and Boston are actually rivals. The holding company may be thinking that they would allienate their own fans by helping Boston out. There is also the question of where the money comes from to use the ground ?

The advantage to Peterborough if Boston go bust is that they may also get a few floating fans.

The league is now withholding £100K to compound their problems.

Peterborough's attitude is the club want Boston to play their game at London Road. Only problem is Peterborough do not own the ground so have no input in the matter. The ground is owned by a property developer called Colin Hill who lives abroad and has nothing whatsoever to do with the club.

Shame on you for mouthing off on a subject you obviously know sweet FA about.

You are talking total rubbish, do you realise how far Boston is from Peterborough, floating fans pmsl. The holding company do not have any fans !!!! They are nothing at all to do with Peterborough United FC. the holding co is owned by a property developer.

I think all of the above needs clarifying, plrease, as I am feeling particularly dense today.

Re: Boston saga continues

Obviously from my time spent in Sin City I didn't speak to the Peterborough fans who have the same views as you but the ones who did actually look forward to playing Boston in the league. If you insist thats the minority then fair enough but it's not easy to find many of them when you live there.

Yes it's just over 30 miles, which I think makes Peterborough the nearest league team to Boston by a couple of miles,I'm sure you will point me in the right direction if I'm wrong.

Can't be that much of a trek seeing as the Boston manager lives in Peterborough.

I would guess he is referring to me, but I'm not quite sure which bit he means.

Whats all the argument about? These teams are on the edges of the fens;with global warming and rising sea levels, both of 'em will be under ten feet of water within the next couple of years.
