Re: Burnley Res at IES

I heard from one of my mates in Burnley that BFC are hoping to use the Crown Ground for the remainder of their fixtures this season.

Prividing the pitch doesn't suffer unduly, this can only be a good thing for Accrington Stanley; it brings in more gate revenue and takings over the bar.

Re: Burnley Res at IES

I would imagine the reserve games are played during the week, in the evenings, not on saturday afternoons. If a league team is playing away from home, they generally take most of their reserve team with them, to sit on the bench.

I think that although it brings more money to the club, it's a bad idea because why should Burnley reserves play on it if our own reserves can't? Stanley reserves have to go to Gt Harwood to play because the club said that the pitch would suffer if they used it when the first team weren't.

I personally don't think it will do any damage to the pitch

Weve got a fantastic playing surface and it can withstand 1/2/3 games on it per week....
