Craney got in the England team when at Altrincham but joining you can only have improved him. I see he's got a few goals already.
Quality player and he will go a long way I think. Why Barrow were after him I don't know as he's far too good for our level and I'll be suprised if league clubs don't come looking soon (unless of course you yoursleves reach the league) |

It's interesting to see David Stockdale's name listed. Coley mentioned him on the radio at the weekend. He's obviously quite made an impression since he came on as sub goalie when we played at York. Good luck to him!

It's a source of great pride when our players are called up for international duty. You may have been at the recent presentation of the caps in the Sports Bar ; I was, and I don't mind confessing that a tear ran down my cheek. Well, more than one tear, actually.
We all, I'm sure, are pleased for Ian Craney ; let's hope he plays, and plays well. I agree with MikeA that the inclusion of David Stockdale ( . . . cue "Heartbeat" theme music) is hardly surprising. His performance in Stanley's 0-1 win at Bootham Crescent was little short of sensational . Undoubtedly a 'keeper who'll reach the highest levels . |

Congrats to both. Can only be a great thing for our club to be represented. Bluebird - we knew Craney was in the side before he came to us but yes I agree with you on the fact I reckon he is on his way to bigger and better things - unfortunately for us and to be completely honest, more attractive than Accy - I hope Eric struts his stuff again and does what he did with Brett Ormerod's deal if it does happen, coz we will also have to pay Alty a percentage... I hope he is with us a long time though coz what Ive seen of him, hes a cracker of a player...

The squad initially was to be a 30 man team to face Italy but Fairclough has dropped the number now to 16.
Cav and Craney both made that final 16 so once again congratulations to them both. |
