Re: Chesterfield Match

2-0 final, two goals by Billy Kee, 3 more points well earned.

Re: Chesterfield Match

They said Stanley shaded first half. Symes with his control command and distribution had been biggest difference and put Chesterfield's front two in the shade. Lees made a brilliant interception in front of goal to prevent a certain goal.

What a difference Kee had made

In "unsavoury scenes" at the end the Chesterfield fans gave their own players a volley of abuse and obscene gestures by the exit to the changing rooms but applauded Accrington off!!!

Ossy, I can't believe you risked invoking the AccyWeb jinx by posting that before full time!

Never mind - Yee haa!

Re: Chesterfield Match

At least 60 points and at worst 15th position - who wouldn't have taken that in August?

Re: Chesterfield Match

Inspired double substitution, Billy Kee is a class act. Dunbavin kept us in it in the first half,
Ultras were superb, roll on next season, well done Stanley.

Re: Chesterfield Match

The Accrington Stanley that was pushing for automatic promotion played today, cracking performance. Dreadful, dreadful officials.

Agree wi both posts, great show against a good side, fer all his faults Dunbavin deserved MOM fer me, wouldn't have bin in it but fer him. They say everyones got a good book in em, seems matches apply to footballers. officials were useless, still cannot understand "Kee" being on bench. really looking forward to next term, think a better report is well possible. thought Leam did well in his first game back, fer my money, much more balance in midfield today, less of the big boot.= much better stanley.
