Re: Clitheroe Friendly

2-0 to Stanley.

First goal by the new centre-half, Roberts. Second goal by a trialist, who nobody would tell me his name. I thought they thought I was a scout.

Dib dib dib!

Re: Clitheroe Friendly

Regulars in the starting line-up I recognised....

Fearon, Edwards, Branch, Williams, Roberts, Harris, Dsane, Miles (I think).

Second half....

Arthur (I think), Cavanagh, Richardson, the Polish bloke on trial, another trialist (but I can't say where he's from unfortunately), Proctor, McGivern, Whalley..... a striker who was kept secret.... that's all I can remember.

Re: Clitheroe Friendly

The number 11 trialist was quite good(long blonde hair). He was the one who set up the second goal. I thought that he was quick and won balls in the right places. He also did some nice linking passes.
