He didn't want to be here, when he was here. So I don't think he'll come back.

Ipswich say that they will listen to offers for him, we haven't got any money to offer, so there is no chance of him coming back.

Eric in the Observer says summat about "there will be a fee which is no good for us - but you never know" maybe just like the Craney transfer where they still owe us money and .....

.... and we'd get resale value on him.

Re: Gary Roberts

we are hoping Sammy will try and sign him as we are likely to lose Garry Thompson to a league 1 team (MK Dons !)

Re: Gary Roberts

Gary would be a great signing but its pie in the sky - he's out of our price range.

Sorry disagree with you there, GR was tireless, chased seemingly lost causes every game and won us a lot of games by doing so.

Re: Gary Roberts

Would think he would see it as a backward step and personally I think it would be a backward step to bring him back, lets give Bobby Grant & Chris Turner a chance through pre Season, not yet the finished articles but I think at that age there is no fear and I would give them a go and let's see what they can do

Re: Gary Roberts

i think bobby grant is very good player from the games he has played this season and i think he should be a regular first team player next season! i also think gary roberts would think it is a backwards step coming back to league 2.

Re: Gary Roberts

Bobby's played well. Haven't seen much other than Chris Turner's debut v Wycombe. He looked very lively though. Nearly scored with his first kick if I remember rightly. All the young lads did well against Burnley reserves. We just got to give them a try and see if they are up to it. As you say Bobby Grant's been playing and certainly doesn't look out of his depth.
