Ged Brannan...any good?

Another MFC fan here just looking for a few serious answers as to whether Brannan is actually any good and why he left Stanley in the first place?

Re: Ged Brannan...any good?

The Stanley fans are split down the middle on Ged. 50% thought he was a marvellous player, and the others thought not. IMHO he is a skilful player but does not have the all important bite in the tackle these days.

Re: Ged Brannan...any good?

Ged left after a disagreement with the management team.
Ged is one of those players that; when he was having a good day, he'd be the best player on the park, however if he was having a bad game he would misplace every pass mis-time challenges etc etc.
Great player, all the best to him.

Re: Ged Brannan...any good?

In my opinion Ged should not of gone 'coz on there day Ged is a dam site better than Anthony Barry I mean whats off the pitch should stay off the pitch and Coleman was stupid to let him go just over a bust up!

BRILLIANT PLAYER

As I've said before our loss is definately Morecambe's gain - you've got a good 'un, look after him!

anthony young ambitious and with a full carer ahead of him, ged 92 year ol pub landlord who once played for motherwell

i'll have barry please although ged on his day fantastic, just didn't see enough ofthose days. Always think its hard for players like ged who have played higher. Must take a lot to get motivated at this level.

the futures bright, the future's craney and barry...... be patient

Re: Ged Brannan...any good?

This is very worrying, we have a problem in defence and yet we can afford to let 3 defenders move on????? Good luck to Ged at Morecambe, but what on earth is going onwith Chrissy Butler and Flynny being allowed to leave as well. Is this a case of disagree with the management and your out. This means we will have a mass transfer of fans who disagree with JC

Coley has got us 3rd in the league, he knows what he's doing. Give him a bit of time to justify his decisions

Just maybe he is thinking of the club here, why pay players who he doestn think are good enough and will not make the team/bench when he can get rid and improve in january? May come back to huant him if we get some injuries but lets hope not!
