Gills game

Not a good first half. We could play ten halves like this and still not score. And Nolan would play better in any of the other nine.

But the worst bit was the booking on Shipley for tackling the ball. That’s his job! What the ref thought his job was I don’t know.

Recall seeing Connor Mahoney playing for Stanley.

Re: Gills game

Really, really, really disappointing result today. First half to forget but Stanley played some good football and were in control just before and just after they scored first.
But as soon as Gillingham equalised they began to over power their opponents. Not the first time Stanley’s squad have looked light-weight against bigger guys.

I thought the one missing player who might have made a difference was Sean (wait for it, Valairian and AccyMad) Whalley.

Exclamation Re: Gills game

Coley is spot on about the 'non' booking we get

Shipley makes a great tackle and wins the ball, yet gets booked

Re: Gills game

Brad talks about not having the experience to see games out and he is right.

Seamus, Sean and Shaun have that, but we cannot get them on the pitch.

Seamus looked good when warming up yesterday, let us hope we can get him back and playing for the rest of the season
