A very good player, Burnley's first Million Pound Man if I remember rightly?

Would be a very good signing if it was to come to fruition a player with bags of League experience who our two younger strikers could learn a lot from.

His name is actually Ian Thomas-Moore ( can Stanley afford so many letters for his shirt ? )

Not unlike Franny Jeffers, a player who moved around several clubs for large fees and never really realised his full potential. Unfortunatley one of the main memories of him as a Burnley player was not what he did but what was in a match report once. His ball control was likened to a dog trying to catch a balloon

If they can get him cheap enough he would add some experience, and of course he is a scouser

Would be a very good signing. We're in desperate need of an experienced attacker. Think I'm right in saying he doubles as a winger and a striker so a role in the 'attacking three' may suit him down to the ground.

I think he started out as a central striker but Burnley kept shoving him out on the wing because of his pace

Apparently hes turned a few clubs down and hes looking for a club 30-45 min from home an preferably still in the league.

would be a good addition,even though hes nearly as old as me.

the young uns would benefit from his experience i reckon.

Was on Radio Lanc's this morning, starting training with us looking for a contact. He is 34 years old,if legs are still good, could be a good signing if only to help the young lads.

Ronnie Moore's son kept on coming up on Google yesterday when I was looking for this chap.

Anyone remember him? Stoke Tottenham Bolton and Orient and England under 23.

Well a few relatives of mine have died in Biddulph Staffordshire and being at at loose end I looked a few of them up in the town cemetery.

Came across a grave with a football on it saying Ian Moores died aged 43. The Gentle Giant. It was very sad. Remember him often on the telly in the seventies and eighties. Died of lung cancer.

Pretty sure Padraig had a trial with Sheffield Wednesday earlier in the summer.

all looks v positive on both the portugese account the sheff wed account and if he were to come looks too good to be true esp if ian thomas moore as well i think coley could have pulled the rabbit out of the hat ........AGAIN and with the defence looking solid midfield positive and these 2 plus Kurtis........won't get too carried away but!
