Re: It's Now Next Week

hi all
RE: live text...

The new website is responsive, meaning it changes its dimensions to suit the screen that you are viewing it on. That's why it generally works really well on set sized devices like iPhones, iPads and laptops etc.

Trouble is, Coveritlive isn't responsive - you have to set a size for your event. So I could make the CiL narrower but then it wouldn't work properly on other devices...

However, help is at hand - on Saturday we're going to try having two versions of CiL on the new site - exactly what's on the Match Coverage page now and a special page for those on mobile devices. This will be an unresponsive page like on the old website and should fit properly on your tablet etc.

That's the theory anyway!

Coveritlive may not be responsive, but you certainly are.

Great work and great feedback.

Much Appreciated Dan

Re: It's Now Next Week

Hi again all
Hopefully you can help me out with the live text situation - we've loaded the new CiL up to the match coverage page but there's now an option at the bottom of the page for those of you on tablets and mobile devices.

The normal coverage page is responses so automatically re-sizes but the alternative page doesn't so you should be able to zoom in your browser to the optimum size for you.

Can a few people on a few different devices just have a little look for me please and let me know how it works?

Match Coverage - Accrington Stanley FC

Cheers!

Looks okay on both a htc onex and a samsung galaxy tab2. I'll keep you informed as to its performance during the text commentary tomorrow.
