Smile Leam Being Ambitious...

Good to see some ambition, and confidence I suppose too. Let's just hope it's not misplaced! :P

Glad to see that Leam and I are in agreement.

I think the manager will assemble a squad of players who are not only talented but also buy into the same ideal as what the manager is putting forward. When everyone within a football club is pulling in the same direction, great things can be achieved. We have that now for the first time in quite a while.

Re: Leam Being Ambitious...

When we won the Conference we'd finished 10th in our 1st and 2nd seasons in that league. I can't remember anything to suggest that we'd go onto win the league that year, and by such a margin, was it 11 points?, so yes! it could happen again!
No doubt they'll have us down as favourites for relegation, so it'll be worth a 20 quid flutter.

Re: Leam Being Ambitious...

Think Leam's being a bit too unambitious if you ask me. We should be thinking of an unprecedented five trophies. JPT, FA Cup, League Cup, League 2, Lancashire Trophy.
