Mannix (29)

Out of all the debuts today Mannix stood out.. Infact the first half he stood out against the whole team.. he hit the crossbar from long range for it to bounce out to proccy who scored but was deemed offside

Mannix did some good passing.. was in control and didn't rush the ball away.. he also flew in for a couple of tackles when needed. Seocnd half want much for anyone.. But on first half showing he stood out by a mile... Deffo one to watch.. shame about the manchester haircut.. looks like he belongs in oasis or summat

Mcgiven did some nice one/two with mullin and they seem to be working well together.. The other debuts didn't fair too well for me.. but that doesnt mean much as the whole team didn't.

Mannix... IF that wasnt a one off display then he will do well for us.

Oh yeagh.. brilliant goalkeeping kept the score down... forgot to mention that.. just used to fantastic saves every game

Sounds like Kipax was impressed by the debut of young Mannix. He'll be singing his praises on the street corners of Accrington tonight.

In yesterday's League Paper David Mannix got in the team of the week and had the highest rating of our players (8). Something to be positive about - can't wait to see him play on Saturday

Looked good at grimsby so hopefully he will play tomorrow night, never like to judge a player after one appearance though but its looking promising

Early days yet, but I reckon he has the potential to be as good as Craney from what I saw on Saturday. BUT don't forget he's only here on a month's loan. Maybe we can negotiate an extension but he may figure in Liverpool's long term plans.

Well, with Mannix returning to Liverpool and Shaun Whalley suspended for being sent off we are really down to the bare bones of the squad.

May have to - either that or try Mangy on the wing, he's certainly got the pace for it.
