Accrington Stanley announce John Coleman as manager Eric Whalley says "We have appointed somebody who we believe is the most up-and-comng manager and think he is going to get us promotion in the first year" and he did! John appointed Jimmy Bell as his assistant immediately! Who would of thought that in 10 years the pair would win us promotion to the football league;
2000 - Nothern Premier Division One Champions
2003 - Nothern Premier League Champions
2006 - Conference Champions
2007 - Promotion to Coca Cola League Two

Long may the Coley and Jimmy era continue!

Re: May 12th 1999

and just for the record

437 league games played (thats 655 1/2 hours )
197 wins (I think we should have a massive party for the 200th!!)
146 lost (possibly a smaller quiet drink for the 150th?)
94 drawn
average points per game 1.57

top quality !!!!!
