Howard Gayle had a Distinguished career at Liverpool and Rovers before he turned up at the Crown ( Still don't find this Interlink easy) but lasted only 45 mins in a red shirt before he was subbed at half-time.

Paul Mullin is often forgotten when the plaudits are handed out... he is a 100% grafter who gives his best..... a little more pace and he would not be playing in the Conference. He gets my vote as player of the year every time.

the story on Howard was that there were some heavies on the ground chasing him over unpaid conservatory building bills, and he saw em and scarpered. true or not its got more legs than him
