Re: Roof and future plans for the stadium!!

Yeah, ok point taken up here. I’m sure Rob want’s to get this information over to us as soon as it’s practical. I’m also sure he will understand how keen we are to find out how things are going to look next season. My god what time to look forward too………better than Christmas.

Really bugs when my fellow neighbours on Livingstone Road do nothing but try and hinder Stanley's developments, even as far back as 1985 I can remember them moaning about the floodlights, then again for the all-weather pitch (which they succeded in putting a stop to), and now moaning about the control tower and new stand. If you dont want traffic outside your house, and the roar of a crowd and to see the success of the stanley - dont move in next to a football ground.

I think as one neighbour said are frightened of their loss of view of the ground with the proposal of the tower & would have to pay per view like rest of us lol

Re: Roof and future plans for the stadium!!

Extract from the March edition of 'Global Sports And Property Gazette':-

"It's not difficult to understand the enormous increase in property values in the Livingstone Road area of Accrington. As the Accrington Stanley Football Club has risen in fame over the last seven years, aided by its history and provenance which stir deeply passionate feelings amongst East Lancashire ex-pats worldwide, so local property values have soared to levels which were hitherto unimaginable.

Local estate agents have, at last, acknowledged that there is an insatiable demand from abroad for holiday homes in the immediate area . One agent, who wished to remain anonymous, told our reporter that there was now an unprecedented number of planning applications in the pipeline for adding upper storeys to existing bungalows in Livingstone Road."
