scouting for new players

Hagi Mnoga; the 21-year-old is currently playing for Aldershot Town in the National League, and on loan from Portsmouth for the second season running.

He's one of the stars for the Shots and a big favourite with the fans there.

He's an International player with Tanzania.

He's big, strong and quick. He plays centre-back, right back and mid-field, and knows where the goal is, scoring some important goals.

If he goes back to Pompey there's no way into the first team with too many players ahead of him in a star-studded Pompey side.

He's desperate and ready for the step up, and has got a bright future.

My husband says, 'He a strong player, perhaps a bit too strong and raw, consequent he got sent off easily. That put Gillingham off from playing him'.

But he's ironed out these problem's while at Aldershot.

Re: scouting for new players

And as for signing for Aldershot, where Mnoga is on a year's loan, ending on the 31st May. His contract also ends with Portsmouth on 30th June.

Aldershot have had a great FA Cup run, and are due to play West Brom in the 3rd Round. So for Mnoga has played in all rounds. The Shots will be financially flush, also, they are well placed for promotion.

If Pompey also get promotion to the Championship, there will be no place for Mnoga in the squad, but if that doesn't happen they will likely lose some of their stars to Championship sides, making it likely that they'll want Mnoga to stay.

That's the situation.

Re: scouting for new players

If its a striker that's required you couldn't go too wrong going for a non-league player like Paul McCallum of Eastleigh with 20 goals from 22 starts. The only negative is he's now 30 years-old.
