Shirt Give away
This morning I went with Year 3 of one of the local schools to the Wham! where each of the children rececived Stanley shirt free of charge plus a goody bag with several items in that made the children very excited and couldn't get back to school fast enough to show their friends what they had received. This event was for all the Year 3 classes at every school in Hyndburn. The day was made better by the fact the players were there signing autographs and giving out the shirts.
The day obviously takes a great deal of organising from the bus drivers, stewards, supporters club members, photographers, players and the management team and not forgetting Lowey who had all the children singing "We are the Reds" and Winstanley who had the child screaming and shouting while they had their photographs taken. So from the teachers, teaching assistants but mainly the children a gigantic THANK YOU to all concerned. |

We even made it onto Granada Reports last night with this, one of the presenters commented "Why doesn't every club do this" - because we're unique, that's why - so proud
