Heavy rain forecast by BBC for Friday day & Friday night.

BBC Weather | Accrington

It's a forecast FIVE days in advance!!

The forecast which has been created for football clubs is totally different, in fact it's light rain Friday AM and then dry Friday night + all day Saturday.

Pitch was draining well this afternoon in the strong winds.

Please lets be positive and BACK THE BOYS

Hi Mr T is there any thoughts of turfing the cabbage patch in the middle, or is the club going to just leave it as it is.

Tomorrow is supposed to be best day of the week, sunny, so if the covers are off,should help a great deal. providing they put em back before the forecast rain returns.

Perhaps we could grow the cabbages til the end of the season and sell them on for a profit?

It's actually stopped now, just damp and murky. Should be no problem as long as they avoid the pitch between the two goal areas
