Re: Stalybridge Today

Hmmm... like Smiffy I thought Welch was the centre-half wearing number 18 and Richardson was the left-back wearing number 3, but the official site has them the other way round.

Mangan looked a bit light weight, although he had pace to spare. Reminded me a bit of Brett Ormerod when he played for us and we all know how he turned out.

Re: Stalybridge Today

I have to disagree TM I think Managan had a v good game, he showed awareness of where the ball was and tried his damndest to get to it, 2 goals too!

If I'm comparing him to Brett Ormerod, I don't think I'm criticising him.

He had an excellent game and I really hope he signs for us. His pace will give any defence nightmares.

Re: Stalybridge Today

Sounds like everything is clicking together at the right time. Couldn't make yesterday due to work commitments, same for next saturday 'gainst Canvey, however, glad to see Coley has signed another 3. What of Rodney Jacks though, he had an excellent first half against Wigan and according to todays NLP when brought on against Stalybridge he had a fair time too - supplying the ball for PC to score? any thoughts

Andrew Mangan - Class!!!

Mullin in the air, Roberts taking them on and whipping in those crosses, Managan hassling em, Jaggie on the right.

I'm new to Stanley this season, and really looking forward to seeing those four giving hell to defenders.
