After hearing at the York game, that the Grays v Stanley match would be shown live in the club house, myself plus 9 stanley amigo's decided to venture out, instead of watching at home, only to find the club house doors locked. After a while deciding where to go to watch the match, the CROWN was our number one decision. From now on, the Crown will always come first, great hospitality,manners, a pleasure to be in their pub. Thanks, will be back xx

Unfortunately the club had an incident resulting in a lack of steward/ess yesterday. Mick & Rob had to shoot back up from Greys to reorganise things, so may not have been the clubs fault Denise. Sure that it will not happen again & service will be quickly restored. Obvious thanks in between to the Crown who have always given excellent service to both Stanley fans & away fans.

I too watched the Grays match in the Crown and thoroughly enjoyed it and was made to feel comfortable even though I was a woman on my own going into a pub. As far as everyone else was concerned I was a stanley fan and I enjoyed the banter

and of course the lads did us proud on the pitch

Rob did actually post on this forum on Friday that the match would not be screened in the clubhouse Denise so I can't see how you can blame the club for your mistake, if you'd bothered to check on here or made a simple phone call to the club you would have known to go elsewhere to watch the game
