The Gate Prediction Thread

Pity you can't make a 'League' out of these predictions, like we do in Havant & Waterlooville's forum.

Our system has promotion and relegation between two different leagues and even a Cup competition, all made from the predictions.

Burnley forum has one. You get points for each guess further away from the actual gate, and the one with the lowest points wins the league. There are of course other factors like number of times you enter etc.

Like anything else it's a case of having the time to do it.

good idea for the next season but as lancsdave has said it's finding someone willing to take the task on.
maybe we should ask for posters who would be willing to take on the responsibilities and then put the canididates to an election

You could try a knock-out cup competition first and see how popular it goes. That would be easier and quicker to set up.

All it really needs first is to ask Mab who organises the Guess The Gate if he wants to do it
