Re: The run in..........

Well Coley's rolled the dice for the last time this season.........What do I mean? Well in his interview after the Portsmouth game yesterday he shouldered all the responsibility for this seasons performances.......he took the blame for every goal conceded and every missed goal opportunity.....he accepted that the recruitment had failed to bring in players who were "consistently good enough" and indeed "good enough for this (league 1) level". He signs off all recruitment and so in his own words "must carry the can".

However!...never giving up...he "rolled that dice one last time".....In saying what he said....Taking all responsibility (rightly so) ....he set the players and coaching staff free....It's not their fault they are not good enough....It's his fault!..........AND.....he set them a challenge......A challenge to prove to him and the fans that they CAN BE GOOD ENOUGH!..........The timing of his comments are not by chance and are not by accident......with 9 points to play for............we're in the last chance saloon in League 1.

Well the "glove has been thrown down!"...........and by 2pm on the Sunday 7th May will we all be thinking what might have been or will we all be thinking what the Clayton End sing......"Johnny Coleman Football Genius"......Let's do what all football supporters do......"LIVE IN HOPE!"

Re: The run in..........

Pretty simple now.
We must now win the last two
And
Hope that two of Oxford (v Forest Green!) Morecambe and Mk Dons drop points against teams with nothing to play for.
Miracle required but they do happen!

Re: The run in..........

If we achieve the Great Escape it will be a miracle akin to Dunkerque.
All hands on deck!
