Question the stadium

how would you feel if your club moved to a new ground? would you be pleased or are you attached to the interlink express stadium?

Re: the stadium

I think anyone who was offered a new purpose built ground or Stadium (multi-purpose or otherwise) would be ecstatic. There will be those that would argue that the Crown Ground or Interlink Express Stadium is part of the culture and history of the club. I would say the same goes with those of us who loved or remembers Peel Park.

At the end of the day the current ground as served Accrington Stanley and the people of Hyndburn very well over the years. Capacity may become an issue later on and we shouldn't be too quick to moan about a change of ground.

To answer your question, I personally would love to have a new purpose built Interlink Express Stadium that was owned by the club but which would be available to the greater community when Stanley weren’t playing.

Re: the stadium

i would love to see a new stadium, however i think we have to be realistic.

Obviously next season IF we make it in2 League 2 it is a massive step in every direction, with the biggest step in my opinion being the actual football itself.

There arent many clubs with the exception of Carlisle that have a great season following promotion from the conference.

personally i dont see why we shouldent be able to have a new stadium. As long as we can consolidate in League 2 for a couple of seasons, why cant we have a stadium similar to Burton Albions???

If you don't want your kids to hear Anglo-Saxon language spoken in a scouse accent don't sit in the main stand near the dug-out when Jimmy Bell's getting excited.
