Re: torquay roll call

I'm about 7 miles from the ground and its hammered it down for two days. Brightening up now, and forecast is not bad for next few days. Pitch down there holds up fairly well according to a few lads down here. Not had many called off over the years. Am sure I will be sampling one in boots and laces come 2pm Saturday. Your round Luke?

Re: torquay roll call

I have serious doubts about this game going ahead now – It’s not stopped raining for 4 days, apart from a couple of hours yesterday afternoon. Better weather is forecast for tomorrow & Saturday, but with the distance for fans and the team to travel, I fear someone will make a hasty decision first thing tomorrow or maybe even this afternoon.

Hope I am wrong

So do I, as a trip to Plainmoor is a trek even for a southern exile. Let's hope, once this batch of rain passes, things dry out over the next couple of days.

Re: torquay roll call

At the risk of this thread turning into a Michael Fish-fest, we should be over the worst of the rain down here. Bit more, maybe, tonight for Torquay but Saturday looks dry.
