Off to a poor start 1st half...0-2 down. Lets hope for better 2nd half.

On viewing the team sheet i thought we looked a good bet for a win but Salfords quick two goal lead completely knocked the stuffing out of us. We lacked any sort of fire power up front. Think if we could just get a good big striker in with an eye for goal it would make all the difference.

I think Shaun Whalley's last game was the friendly against Wigan.
He scored both our goals and virtually ran the game before being subbed.
It's no coincidence our poor league results have coincided with his continued absence from the squad.
Where is he & why are the management staying so tight lipped about it?

I thought they'd said it was quite a long term injury which isn't good in a player his age.
