wey hey, stanley make it into sports pages of Daily mirror

Bottom of page 64 in today's mirror!!! As follows:

HEADLINE

Lee's the saviour

Lee McCullloch saved premiership new boys Wigan from embarrassment last night - but may miss the start of the season.
Scotland International striker McCulloch smahed a second half equaliser for Paul Jewell's men to scramble a 1-1 draw with conference side Accrington Stanley. (hee hee)

But the powerful forward limped off with a thigh injury soon after and may miss the opener with Chelsea to add to Jewell's problems.

Nathan Ellingon had a second-half run out as he tries to regain his fitness after a shoulder operation but Wigan are desperately short of firepower and almost lost to a Paul Mullin penalty.

I know we didn't get much of a mention but I did enjoy reading it!

(ps never read anything after they played morecambe!!!)
