Re: whats the weather like

We've been up at the ground all morning. The pitch is okay once the covers have been removed and the various uncovered bits removed of snow. Referee was there and didn't seem too concerned with inspecting the pitch, I presume he was waiting for the last few covers to come off.

Snow on the away terrace but they are going to keep it closed and put them in the cow shed I believe.

Personally I think the pitch is okay. Will be amazed if it's called off.

Re: whats the weather like

Just a reminder that Blackburn Rd is closed off in Church if anyone goes that way.

TM, if you can get out of Darwen all roads have been gritted over here. There's no problem

Cheers Dave. I'm going to risk it in about 20 minutes. The main roads will be fine over here, it's just that where I live they haven't heard of salt or grit.

Think we'd have been better off spending the afternoon in the bar!
