Oh Dear This Could be A Long Night
Just done a mild amount of Shopping at ASDA I often get their Bacon type joint, very enjoyable really tasty.
Today they had run out, so I settled for half a chicken also usually very nice.
I was writing another thread, (boring don't bother looking for it), meat on the outside of the chicken piping hot, delicious, as I got closer to the centre it was cooling down until I actually got to the centre absolutely cold!
Could someone do me a favour? Just stay up a little bit later tonight and if I need it call around with a spare bog roll, I get the feeling I might need it.
I would take it back but how do you prove that a piping hot chicken that has been eaten wasn't hot all the way through?

Re: Oh Dear This Could be A Long Night
I would definetly be putting a complaint in, they are supposed to check that the chickens are cooked through. I have seen them using a thermometer type thing that goes into the middle of chicken. They obviously haven't checked this one so they need telling!!!

Re: Oh Dear This Could be A Long Night
That's terrible. You should definitely make them aware of the situation at Asda.
Good luck for later on. I hope your bath is in close proximity to your toilet.
This helps if you get it coming out of both ends.

The voucher would be some compensation for the extra bog roll being required in the first place.
I suppose if you were really desperate you could use it as bog roll but that was not the intention.

Re: Oh Dear This Could be A Long Night
As long as the cold bits weren't pink you will probably OK. If ALL the chicken meat was pink - we will collect for a wreath

Well thanks for the thoughts gentlemen, it might be worth going for a refund, I'll wait until tomorrow though, should be an interesting conversation at customer services.
Staff Member "Oh dear, the chicken wasn't properly cooked was it not? Did you bring it back?"
Me "No not all of it, some of it came out the other end, it's in this bucket if you would dare to take the lid off!"

Re: Oh Dear This Could be A Long Night
Less, I think you will survive.......I am sure that you have eaten worse things and survived without a hint of intestinal hurry(the trots for the uninitiated).
But do tell them at Asda.....I don't think they will need proof. I can lend you some green foundation if you want to be convincing.

I don't think Less is daft enough to eat pink chicken.
