Re: Ski Slopes In Accrington

They had gritted last night and this morning - I saw them. When it's proper snow and not just slush that is frozen over, grit salt doesn't work. Countries that regularly have snow don't bother to...

Re: Undesirable relocating in Accrington???

It comes back to parenting again. I taught my children from a very young age that they should never allow anyone to touch them in any way or any where that made them feel uncomfortable. I explained...

Re: Undesirable relocating in Accrington???

You know...I'm alarmed that children of that age knew enough about 'life' to make up such lies. When I was 10 I was thankfully innocent of where babies came from. If I was the parents of the little...

Re: Natural Spring (Water)- any nearby?

Re: Natural Spring (Water)- any nearby?

That's really interesting KATEX. I have often heard rushing water underground in the area so I guess it is likely pouring down one of those tunnels underground. There is a semi-circle of land or...

Re: Fake Christmas tree

I saw a thing on t.v this last week about 'rent-a-tree'. It is apparently the best and eco-friendly way to have a live, fresh tree. The chap (dunno who or where) keeps the trees in the ground, then...
