Yvonne disappeared somewhere in Cyprus I believe. Her sister lives in Fairfield Street. Last I heard she was presumed deceased. Very sad!

There was a guy named David Briggs who used to be quite a notable snooker player. Observer Cup level. He would be around the age mentioned (70). Wild Child I believe!

I have a copy of Accrington's Public Transport 1886-1986 by Robert Rush. Includes fleets from 1928-1986, Bus Routes etc.
I also worked on the system in the 60s.

Born in Accrington many moons ago but left the area for a warmer climate. returned to the UK around 2000 and now live in the SW of the UK.
Not quite new to the web as I once signed up before...
