I am extremely sad to read about your experiences. I have so many wonderful memories of the Blackpool of my youth (the 1930s, 40s and 50s) -- to this day my favorite holiday venue.

You can disable images in your browser to speed up page rendering -- that is the default manner in which I use online Forums -- I turn image rendering back on selectively.
