It is one of the 9kg Hoover models. I just found it ran fine with the washer tap partly open. To be honest I can't remember if it was this one or the one before that did not like the washer tap fully...

I think you have a flow problem. I had a similar problem and only open the washer tap a very small amount. This reduced the flow and stopped it coming out of the drawer.

You are correct about the pressure being the same if the tap was only partly open.

Your water pressure will be no where near 10 bar mate. Last time I checked at a house I lived in it was about...
